Junior Engineer Internship-6 months Gas Industry

We have an opportunity for a Junior Engineer to join us at Honeywell in Lognes, France.During the internship program you will be responsible for preparing project-specific technical documentation, supporting construction activities, and collaborating closely with senior engineers. You will play a crucial role in executing medium-sized projects that contribute to our mission of providing innovative metering solutions for the gas industry, particularly in the bioenergy sector.

This 6-months role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

Honeywell Process Measurement & Control provides total metering solutions for gas industry. Strongly focused on BioGas and Renewables, supporting the HON Breakthrough Initiative on Net Zero.

Responsibilities:

·  Support the Project Manager and Lead Engineer in executing project specifications and documentation.

·   Produce high-quality project-specific documentation to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

·       Monitor and assist with construction activities at the Lognes site.

·   Understand project requirements and actively participate in reviews to gauge customer expectations.

·    Collaborate effectively with the Project Manager and Lead Engineer throughout all project phases.

·   Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) standards and contribute to engineering deliverables with a focus on safety and efficiency.

 

Skills and Qualifications

·       Recent graduate with a Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation or Automation.

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French C2 and English B1-B2.

·        Relevant internships or academic projects will be considered favorably,no professional experience is required.

·       Knowledge of gas metering and regulations is a plus.

·       Solution-oriented mindset with conceptual thinking abilities.

·       Self-motivated, able to multitask and thrive in timely delivered environments.
