Job purpose:
You will join our MEP & Mechanical design team in the Arcadis Iasi office. In this department, we are focusing our attention on a few domains: building installations (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Water distribution, Fire safety, Fire detection, Security, and CCTV), High Voltage Power and Distribution lines and substations, Street lighting, and Mechanical Design.
For building installations, we cover all types of assets, from office to universities, schools, industrial, residential, and retail buildings.
The purpose of this role is to manage metadata and update documentation for a large number of substations in both Primary and Secondary design.
Job description
As an electrical design engineer HV-substations your job consists of:
Contributing to the digitalization process by preparing as-built drawings and documentation for high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) distribution networks, along with their associated infrastructure and buildings; Do engineering design wherever needed for the above networks and associated infrastructure and buildings under the supervision of an experienced engineer ; Create sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, final working drawings, for as-built drawings ; Build proficiency in AutoCAD, ELCAD, and other software used in the Digitization process ;Your role will include, but is not limited to:
Work with the project team to create all design documents and drawings, b single and multi-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, section and detail drawings and application of mark-ups for project built drawings; Communicate and coordinate project activities with project leaders and team members from other disciplines.Qualifications
Mandatory:
At least Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineer, Power electronics and electric drive or Electrical power systems engineering); You can easily interpret electrical schematics of existing installations, current standards, suppliers’ specifications and scope documents as base of the engineering; A strong affinity for electrical engineering and willing to continue to build technical expertise; Strong English language skills; Good knowledge of Autocad ; Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities, creativity, proactivity, and strong analytical skills ;Nice to have:
Accuracy and details focus; Technical and quality focus; Experience in HV Suibstation Design; ANRE certificate IIIA/IVA; Knowledge of specialized software (Revit, ETAP, EPLAN, ELCAD, etc.); Candidates should demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking to identify opportunities for automation and innovation ; Utilize and apply AI knowledge and skillsKey attributes:
