The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you'll do:

As a Software Developer, you'll develop SAP's payroll solutions for Ukraine and Kazakhstan alongside expert developers in Human Capital Management (HCM), covering all stages of the Development & Operations lifecycle. You'll work in an agile, Scrum-guided team, closely collaborating with the Scrum Master, Architect, and Product Owner to analyze requirements, implement solutions, and maintain on-premise and private cloud products. Your role will involve adapting the software to meet legal payroll changes in Ukraine and Kazakhstan and ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions for a diverse customer base. Additionally, you'll contribute to strategic projects like the HCM solution for S/4 HANA, enhancing your expertise across varied development tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing private cloud and on-premise payroll products. Participating in the entire Development & Operations lifecycle. Working as part of an agile development team, following Scrum methodology and collaborating with the Scrum Master and Product Owner. Understanding and implementing payroll procedures for localized countries. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a diverse, multicultural setting. Demonstrating a high commitment to quality, reliability, and a self-motivated working style.

What you bring:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Good software development/programming skills in at least one common programming language, with solid knowledge in database theory, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design patterns. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A dedication to high-quality work, reliability, and a self-driven working style. Intermediate or higher proficiency in English (spoken and written). An interest in business processes related to Human Capital Management and Payroll. Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary, multicultural environment. Strong focus on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and successful project outcomes.

The following skills are not required but would be considered beneficial for the role:

Proficiency in the ABAP development language. Experience in application development, particularly within the HCM domain. Familiarity with Ukrainian or Kazakhstan legal regulations is a plus.

Work Experience:

We welcome applicants with at least one year of experience in software development, though this position is also open to fresh graduates. Position level will be adjusted based on your experience and qualifications.
