What you’ll do

We are looking for developers who want to be part of a new, to-be-built engineering team that initially focuses on ABAP and Fiori UI5 development.

 

After a period of learning and ramping up required skills, you will take over responsibility for new and existing products that are crucial for successful customer operations in the public cloud.

 

In your role as a junior developer, your tasks will cover design, coding, testing, quality assurance and maintenance in the development process. As part of an inspired team of new colleagues you will gather a lot of knowledge about business processes which can be a key differentiator for your further career.

 

You have the chance to contribute to improving and re-defining Financial Operations functionalities for better usability and easier consumption with strong Cloud focus. Financial Operations deals with the management of invoices, incoming and outgoing Payments or bank statement processing. Your team will help to automate those high-volume processes using the latest technologies, including aspects of AI.  

 

 

What you bring

You own a bachelor's or master's degree or PhD in (business) informatics, natural sciences, information systems, economics or in a comparable field.

 

You enjoy working in a team, show passion for your job and have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

 

You have relevant practical experience in Software Development/Engineering, IT technologies and you can adapt quickly to new programming languages and technologies.

 

You have excellent communication skills both in Hungarian and in English, both verbal and written are essential.

 

Strong interest in business applications is crucial.

Meet your team

Our area Payments, Cash & Treasury is within the S/4HANA Cloud ERP organization in the Product Engineering board area. Our products are key elements in SAP's Finance portfolio and widely used by customers.

 

Our area consists of several teams in different locations such as Brno, Shanghai, Walldorf, Galway, and soon also in Budapest.

 

As a development unit for public cloud business software, the primary task of the new team in Budapest is to provide new features and professional support for a cluster of topics to our customers. This will be in close collaboration with existing teams in our different locations.
