Cat Digital is expanding its intern program into Slovakia. We are seeking students with an interest in technology to join our team to help us establish and grow our presence, organization and culture. As an intern, you will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and have the opportunity to collaborate with top professionals working on very high impact and visibility products. Internship Dates:

Monday June 16th until Friday September 5th, 2025 (student part time contract).

After successful completion of the initial 12-week program, the best interns will have the opportunity to join our part time intern job and continue their career at Caterpillar.

Compensation:

8 euros gross / per hour (up to 640 euro gross per month)

The scope of the intern program will be focused on:

Data Science

Data Science interns will join the Predictive Maintenance Team within Cat Digital and will have the opportunity to learn about development of condition monitoring models to power asset management solutions for customers and dealers. Interns will be exposed to machine learning and statistics-based/physics-based analytics techniques on time-series sensor data, machine fault codes, inspections and analysis records, and other datasets to identify health anomalies, predict equipment failure modes, estimate remaining useful life, and build equipment risk models.

Basic qualifications:

Students of 2nd class of bachelor’s study in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Data Visualization, Software Engineering, or related area ​

English written and spoken (at least B1 level)

Analytical thinking, willing to learn and develop, intellectual curiosity.

Nice to have:

Interest in technologies like Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Pandas, Matplotlib, AWS.

Experience and/or interest in Data Science work using Pandas and visualizing the results.

Participation in school clubs or student organizations.
