The Role 

Junior Claims Broker – Corporate Risk & Broking

As a Junior Claims Broker, you will assist in managing and processing insurance claims for corporate clients, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction. You will work closely with insurers, clients, and internal teams to provide expert claims advice, facilitate negotiations, and support risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in handling corporate insurance claims, from notification to settlement. Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and legal teams to ensure fair and prompt claim resolution. Review policy wordings and coverage to determine claim validity. Provide clients with updates on claim progress and expected outcomes. Maintain accurate claim records and ensure compliance with company policies. Support senior brokers in negotiations and claims advocacy. Identify trends in claims data to advise clients on risk mitigation strategies. Ensure all claims are handled in line with regulatory and industry standards.

The Requirements

 

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and policy wordings.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in claims handling, insurance broking, or risk management.Knowledge of corporate insurance products (e.g., liability, property, marine, etc.).
