Minimum requirements:
Admitted attorney with at least 2 years of post-admission experience specifically in property or community scheme law. Strong knowledge of the STSMA, regulations, and governance of HOAs. Experience in contract drafting, legal opinions, and dispute resolution within sectional title schemes and HOA’s. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently. Drafting legal opinions and advising clients on all aspects of community housing law (Bodies Corporate & HOAs). Interpreting and advising on Legislation, Management Rules, Conduct Rules, and their validity and amendments. Providing legal guidance on quorums, meetings, and governance requirements. Drafting demands and enforcement notices for breaches of rules. Advising on and overseeing the termination of managing agents and service providers' contracts. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations applicable to sectional title schemes and HOAs.
