As a Junior Analyst – Depositary Services, you will be an integral part of our depositary team, responsible for ensuring that alternative investment funds (AIFs) and their fund managers comply with the AIFM Directive (AIFMD) and ensuring adherence to CSSF regulatory frameworks and best practices.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will develop expertise in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and debt funds.

Key responsibilities
AIFMD
Ensure that Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and their Fund Managers adhere to regulatory frameworks and internal procedures. Monitor and reconcile cash flows of investment accounts, ensuring accurate tracking of transactions and identifying any discrepancies. Perform safekeeping duties, verifying and documenting assets held by the AIF in strict alignment with established procedures and regulatory guidelines. Maintain ongoing oversight of fund activities, ensuring that capital calls, contributions, redemptions, investments, divestments, and share transactions comply with fund terms, legal agreements, and industry standards. Conduct transaction verification and analysis, ensuring all activities align with fund documentation, including Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), Shareholder Agreements, and Management Agreements.Business Continuation and Development
Stay up to date with industry trends, particularly in relation to AIFMD and depositary services. Develop a thorough understanding of the operating procedures and regulatory requirements related to depositary services. Profile
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who is eager to develop a strong foundation in alternative investment fund structures and regulatory frameworks.
Education: University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Law. 1-3 years of relevant experience in the fund industry; experience in a depositary service, fund management or law firm will be considered as an asset; Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in the fund industry, preferably in depositary services, fund management, or a legal environment. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with investment strategies, fund structures, and financial instruments is a plus. Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage. Balanced planning and organisation of work (client’s, own and for the team); Regulatory Understanding: Strong interest in AIFMD, fund documents, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and alternative investment funds. Personal Attributes: Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of balancing multiple priorities. A team player with a positive and proactive mindset. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
