About the role: 

Kyriba is looking for a Junior QA Engineer who wants to join our unique project with the highly professional team and be involved into tremendous innovation activities and for whom Quality is not just a word. We appreciate new ideas, like challenges, fully dedicated to quality and addicted to success! The team is located in France and Poland. The project is stable, has well-defined processes and challenging tasks. Continuous improvements and Innovations are always welcome. The team consists of 200+ motivated, dynamic and highly talented developers, testers and managers. The development processes are Agile SCRUM/KANBAN based.


 

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

Create and maintain Test Plans, test cases, test standards/procedures to ensure sufficient test coverage

Run manual and automated testing during in-sprint activities: performance, functional, acceptance testing

Investigate, debug and fix test-automation failures as it comes

Coordinate with developers, Product owners and other team members to deliver high quality product

Track and communicate task progress, status on in-sprint and regression testing, quality assurance and testing reports

Do continuous process improvement

Education, Experience & Skills: 

Good understanding of software development processes

Knowledge of testing and quality assurance processes

Object-Oriented Principles: A strong grasp of OOP principles

Writing test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)

Experience in Java for test automation

Basic SQL knowledge

Knowledge of practical Git usage

Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written

“Will-do” attitude

Nice to have: Experience in usage of Test Management Systems (e.g. Xray)

Nice to have: Experience in usage of Defect Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)

Nice to have: Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript for test automation
