Jr. Project Manager
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Jr. Project Manager to work for our company. Summary: + Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies) + Serves as the project manager for one to two task orders supporting a few systems. + Assist the Program Manager and Senior Task Order Project Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. + Under the guidance of the Program Manager and Senior Task Order project Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions, schedules and deliverables in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. + Under the guidance of the Program Manager and Senior Task Order Project Manager, manage all day-to-day operations including administrative functions, assessing risks and issues, identifying assumptions, and resolving interpersonal conflicts. + Will gather requirements, develop user stories, and draw upon an understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Will manage calendars; Microsoft project schedules and prioritize meetings, conference calls, and project dates. Will coordinate with the project management team to develop reports, briefings, and other deliverables. Requirements: + Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies) + Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. + Must have 1+ years of relevant experience + Must have 2+ years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields. + Must have previous experience supporting DOD IT development programs in the areas of program management (PM), systems engineering (SE) related functional/technical quality, cost analysis (CA), and configuration management (CM) assessments and audits of DOD IT program lifecycle requirements, documents, and data and their compliance with DOD acquisition policies and regulations. + Must be willing to obtain a relevant Agile certification within 6 months. + Must be willing and able to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. Preferences: + DoD Secret Clearance + DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II Certifications: IAT II (CCNA Security, CySA **, GICSP, GSEC, Security +CE, SSCP) or IAT III (CASP+CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH) + A relevant Agile certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), or equivalent + Previous experience managing a team using agile methodologies. + Previous experience as a point of contact for CMMI responsibilities and audits. + Four Medical/Vision options including an HSA plan. + Dental and Orthodontia plan + Vision Materials plan + Paid Life, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability + 401K Retirement Program with company contribution + Paid Vacation, Holidays, Sick Leave, Floating Holidays, Bereavement Leave + Semi-monthly pay cycle Work With Us IT-Strat is a technology consulting company that holds various contract vehicles including best in class vehicles.
