Sodexo is seeking a Jr. CAD Facilities Analyst to support a Life Science Pharmaceutical client in Rahway, NJ.  The Jr. CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Facilities Analyst will assist will manage, revise and maintain client master technical drawings using CAD software. Will collaborate with members of the CAD team, Occupancy Planning, Projects and Facilities Management teams as well as client partners to maintain and provide accurate master CAD drawings.

What You'll Do

Creation/Update/Maintenance/retrieval of all engineering discipline drawings including but not limited to MEP building plans and schematics for technical sites per client’s specifications. 

Review Master CAD drawings with multiple teams and making changes as required. 

Meeting with Manager to review special project assignments. 

Ability to complete field surveys to verify conditions, take measurements, create sketches, mark upmarkup drawings and ensure changes are made to as built conditions. 

Prepare and update safety environment facility diagrams which include fire evacuation routes/assembly areas and occupancy capacity maps. 

Working with CAD team and individually on CAD specialty projects. 

Adhere to clients Project Turnover Compliance process. 

Generate drawings lists of master drawing disciplines Capable of trouble shooting basic plotter issues, paper jams, replace ink, paper and printhead Participate in Weekly Team meetings, perform various administrative tasks as needed, such as gathering/printing PDFs and printing out of drawings What We Offer

What You Bring

A.A.S. degree in Design and Drafting, Electrical, or Mechanical program or equivalency   

1-year related work experience in AutoCAD 2023, Autodesk’s BIM 360 platform, and AutoCAD Plant 3D. 

Capability to follow complex instructions and ability to read and interpret Architectural plans, MEP, Civil and construction documents.  

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes. 

Technologically savvy and utilize software to support our client’s business units.  

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet to slice, dice, and filter large data sets. 

Work independently, ability to multi-task and good time management practices to meet deadlines. 

Strong interpersonal skills, interacting with external and internal clients.
