**Job Title: Machine Technician - Starting at $37/hr!** **Job Description** The Machine Repair Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting daily maintenance of automated equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and systems. + Troubleshoot from wiring diagrams and blueprints. + Install conduit, outlets, and general electrical components. + Troubleshoot electrical mechanical motor controls. + Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits. + Maintain mechanical drive systems including gears, sprockets, chains, belts, bearings, and rollers. + Provide general fabrication skills such as welding, torching, machining, piping, and threading. + Assist in advanced levels of troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair throughout the plant. + Keep accurate preventative maintenance records. + Support daily maintenance of automated equipment. + Perform work based on dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience in a similar role. + Automotive manufacturing or plastics manufacturing experience. + Journeyman's card or an associate's degree/certification. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General electric knowledge (480v, 3 phase experience, install conduit, outlets, etc). + Experience troubleshooting circuits and motors. + Experience troubleshooting wiring diagrams. + Experience troubleshooting hydraulic circuits. + Experience troubleshooting mechanical drive systems (gears, sprockets, chains, belts, bearings, and rollers). + Experience troubleshooting mechanical motor controls. **Why Work Here?** This is a direct hire position that offers company-provided uniforms and a tool allowance. You will receive $350 in your first year and $500 thereafter. **Work Environment** This is a non-climate controlled environment. The 2nd shift is from 3:00pm to 11:00pm and the 3rd shift is from 11:00pm to 7:00am, Monday through Friday. The team is currently working on Saturdays due to high demand. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Oregon, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $77209.00/yr. This is a direct hire position with a union company. Company provides uniforms and tool allowance.
