The JMPS specialist role is accountable for working with internal and external subject matter experts to develop the necessary content, training material and standards for all JMPS pillars, develop maturity assessments for the programme, mentor and coach sites in deploying the elements, assess site maturities using the assessment tools, develop data and reporting apps with the data and systems specialist.
JMPS is closely interlinked with other functions and the JMPS specialist will need to collaborate and prioritise cross functional synergies.
Your responsibilities:Content & Training Development – Work with internal and external experts to develop training materials, standards, and maturity assessments for JMPS pillars.Site Support & Assessment – Mentor and coach sites in deploying JMPS elements, assess site maturities using tools, and drive continuous improvement.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared best practices.Data & Reporting – Partner with the data and systems specialist to develop reporting applications that support business needs.Centre-Business Integration – Actively contribute to JMPS cross-functional initiatives, ensuring connectivity between sites, businesses, and central functions.Safety & Leadership – Promote a strong safety culture by embedding safety into all JMPS processes and setting clear expectations.Requirements for the role:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing discipline or equivalent experience.Experience in lean, continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering and Operational Excellence.Experience in developing and deploying operational excellence on a multi-site level, international business environment and across different cultures.Ability to reduce complexity and uncertainty and provide clear concise training applicable to diverse audiencesExcellent verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills, able to influence and persuade a wide range of stakeholders in a matrixed organisation.High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data, and reporting apps.How you will be rewarded:We offer a competitive compensation and JM Elements benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 20 days annual leave (varies for shift- based roles).
