A large global retailer in the Northwest Arkansas area is looking for a Java Developer to join the international organization. They will be part of the team working on the digital shelf label project. They are enabling electronic self-labels in multiple international markets. This has already been implemented in the US and they are following that same road map for Canada, Mexico and Chile and to mirror one common design in all markets. They will be working on an agile team alongside product managers and architects to break the implementation down into sprints. They will be development the functionalities, doing code reviews and debugging code.

Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
Utilize Spring Boot to build robust and scalable microservices.
Integrate and manage Kafka for real-time data processing.
Design and implement relational database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications.
Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for application deployment and management.
Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure code quality.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
