We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist

In this role you will:

Oversee the delivery of platform across markets and channels.Lead technical solution for products.Communication with multiple stakeholdersHelping team with design, reviews, integration with various hosts and Production releases. Be part of the DevOps Product Team and reports to the Head of Insurance Integration TechnologyBe accountable for the technical solution and implementation of the same for API based services within Insurance.Be accountable for run-time operation of products and services within a Product Group or a set of development teams/pods.Be accountable for ensuring that test strategies across DevOps activities are in place across teams/Pods for the products they support which include Test automation, Test Data, Environments –including virtual services.Work with Product Owners and DevOps teams, and is responsible for the delivery, on-going success continuous improvement of a discrete set of products or business services, or shared products/platforms/environments that are used/consumed by other DevOps Teams/PodsBe accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency (in line with published standards and guidelines) and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperativesWork with the product owner to ensure that work is de-constructed and translated into development activities across teams/podsBe accountable for the creation and management of epics, backlog management and prioritization across teams/pods and for conformance to the IT operating model with regards to agile and DevOps practicesBe accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by Teams/Pods adhere to the relevant Service ManagementAccountable for balancing demand and supply of integration platform resources across different SV

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Have an experience on engineering aspects of platform like code quality and compliance.Work experience on project development using Java / J2EE, Spring, AWS services.Have successfully delivered large scale projects in agile methodology.Good understanding of API and Micro servicesIn-depth knowledge of Oracle database and sql queries, JPA etcCloud - experience on AWS, which includes working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3Have experience in Devops tools in a cloud environment, such as Docker,GitHub, Jenkins,Kubernetes, Maven, and Sonar Qube etcShould be able to lead the integrations with different systems both technically and functionally.Should be able to guide team members in all technical aspects and security tools adoption.Analytical mind with problem solving skills.Ability to work independently and have very good communication skillsShould be able to multitask handling projects running across multiple markets.Flexible in timings and should be able to lead on deployment activities.Should be able to quickly learn and understand different frameworks. Be able to migrate the APIs from one platform to other platform and guide the team members accordingly.
