JANITORIAL CREW LEAD II Location: West Point, NY, United StatesDate Posted: Apr 14, 2025 Share: share to e-mail Apply Now Save JobSaved Description Location: West Point, NY Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2;30pm Rate: $21/hr OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES : In this role you will be supervising a team of individuals with disabilities as they perform cleaning tasks at the rest stops on I-84 and I-684. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS : + Supervise workers assigned to contract while at site performing janitorial duties + Manage contract direct labor hours and disabled worker ratio per contract + Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment + Manage on-site training, time sheets, and progressive discipline + Limited interaction with contract Point of Contact + Must assist with transportation needs of contract workers + Perform other duties as assigned ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT: + Assignments may be determined at a future date QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES : + A valid NY State driver’s license + A strong janitorial background + Bilingual English and Spanish speaking is a plus EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : + Must have 1+ years supervisory and janitorial experience + Supervisory experience + Experience with disabled population is a plus PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to perform the job's essential functions successfully.
