Job Summary:
The Day shift Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the main office areas: areas include office work areas, bathrooms, waiting areas, common area space, kitchens and dining area.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Monitors all assigned areas throughout shift, this includes cleaning of the office work areas, kitchen areas, bathrooms and all other assigned areas throughout the facility. Maintains cleanliness, eliminating safety hazards Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Performs miscellaneous duties as directedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven working experience as a janitor or willing and able to train Preferred knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Preferred knowledge of Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently Excellent attention to detail Ability to multi-task Versatility and willingness to perform various tasks as necessary Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with other Team MembersWorking conditions:
Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors occasionally Must wear protective equipmentPhysical requirements:
Requires walking, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees as well as function safely around facility equipmentMinimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age High School diploma, preferred Bilingual - English/Spanish
