Janitor - 1st Shift

Job Description:

Position Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Empty trash cans around the FabShopClean and dust the floors, walls, and walkways in the facilityClean and dust the doors and windows around the whole facilityWash the walls around the facility as neededClean break roomsClean restroomsWipe down fire extinguishers, crane rails, duct work, light fixtures and HVAC equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to understand cleaning chemicals used at the FabShopReliable and punctualTrustworthySense of urgency in completing tasksAbility to work independentlyAbility to move from one task to another and stay productiveSelf-motivatedAbility to wear a respirator or other safety equipment when neededAbility to work with cleaning products daily

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Janitorial/Custodial experience preferred

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders and man lifts if needed
