Job Description:

Candidate should have more than 5 years in Big Data –Hive and Spark experience with Strong experience in Java. Primary skills: Java (or Python), Big data (Hive, Spark), Unix/Linux, GIT, Jenkins/ XLR. Proven hands-on Software Development & implementation experience in Big Data Stack. Proven working experience in Java development starting with design, build, test & implementation of applications using Java EE platforms Hands on experience on Spring/ Spring boot Framework Experience in configuration and deployment of RESTful API using APIGEE Hands on experience in build and deploying web applications in Tomcat, JBOSS web servers or cloud. Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Excellent knowledge of HBASE, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) Experience in big data technologies – at least Hive & HBASE. Development experience using Apache spark would be plus. Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC) Knowledge of Angular JS or React is a plus. Proven experience with debugging and providing solutions for latency & request/ response timeout issues and coordination with external teams until successful resolution of issues. Experience in working with version control tools (GIT preferred). Experience with test-driven development along with implementing coding best practices such as exception handling, logging etc. Experience working with and setting up Jenkins pipeline for CICD Must have DevOps mindset actively working on automation, building continuous build, integration, testing & deployment pipelines using Jenkins, XLR, Lisa & Lara. Good to have: Certifications on Java or Big Data. Good to have: Automation experience of manual tasks using Java/python (tool/ language not a barrier).
