JOB TITLE: IT Technician
JOB SCOPE:
+ Provide year round ongoing preventative maintenance and repair on IT equipment within our restaurant.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the restaurant environment.
+ Meet standards set by New Technology Implementation Coordinator.
+ Work independently and together as a team.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Technical School Graduate/Degree or 3-5 years restaurant industry experience.
+ POS Registers (PAR, IBM/Toshiba)
+ POS system peripherals (cash drawers, printers, order and price confirmation systems)
+ Drive Through Timers and Communications equipment
+ Telephone service, wiring and equipment
+ Surveillance System installation, maintenance and repair
+ New technology as it is adapted into our business
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Knowledge of equipment, tools and materials used in an IT maintenance environment.
+ Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, lifting and moving up to 50 lbs., reaching, manual dexterity and visual acuity.
+ Work approximately 50 hours a week and rotate on-call responsibilities.
+ Must be able to climb ladders and work at elevations of 35 feet.
+ Must be able to travel out of town for up to 5 days at a time
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Handle day to day IT maintenance, repair and service tasks.
+ Complete daily paperwork/documentation on all jobs.
+ Plans, prepares and devises work schedule, according to budgets, workloads and supervisor direction.
+ Participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures.
+ Follow safety policies and procedures.
+ Complete preventative maintenance on IT equipment as needed.
