The position Technical Project Management will be a Delivery and Project Management role responsible for ensuring the applications follow the strategic goals, have the right interface and experience characteristics required for a world class solution. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have sufficient experience in building cutting edge web application servicing a large global userbase. The successful candidate will champion the users’ needs from an experience perspective as well as ensuring the right designs are in place. **Responsibilities:** + Oversees all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and acts as a liaison between clients, engineers, and other departments to meet project requirements. + Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. + Overseeing end-to-end delivery of projects, including planning, execution, and risk management. + Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates. + Has shared responsibility for policy formulation and planning. + Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas. + Applies in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area. + Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals. + Provides evaluative feedback based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations. + Perform and document Release Retrospection, KPI tracking, Post-Mortem for future improvements. + Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through responsibility for delivery of end results and shared responsibility for budget management, accountable for resource planning. + Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards. + Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties. + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. **Qualifications:** + 2-4 years’ experience in a related technology role with Technical Project Management + 4+ years’ experience in all facets of the web application development life cycle, from requirement analysis, architecture, design, code, UAT and post-implementation revisions. + Strong communication skills both written and verbal to manage stakeholders and escalations. + Strong leadership skills and ability to self-manage. + Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines. + Understanding of web development phases and process + Worked on Tools like Java, JSP, Servlets, spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Javascript, Angular **Education:** + Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially master’s degree in computer science or related field. ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Technology ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Applications Development ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
