Information Technology (IT) Systems Engineer\n

What We're Looking For:\n

We are seeking an Information Technology (IT) Systems Engineer will support the agency's Windows Servers, VMware virtualization and datastores. The ideal candidate with ensure said systems are highly available, reliable and secure.\n
\n

Responsibilities:\n\nSystem administration of a Microsoft Windows Domain environment running DFRS, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, IIS, Certificate Services, Federation Services, and other similar services.\nManagement of VCenter running on a clustered HP server with 100-150 VMs.\nAdministration of Office 365, Entra ID and on-prem active directory infrastructure.\nMonitoring of all critical systems using various monitoring tools and timely incident response.\nDesigning and implementing complex systems in full alignment with organizational goals.\nAutomating IT tasks by using Microsoft PowerShell tools and scripts.\nConfiguring systems utilizing industry and manufacturer best practices.\nPerforming system upgrades and patching to minimize security vulnerabilities.\nMaintaining accurate and up to date infrastructure documentation and knowledge base.\nProviding Tier-2 support to the agency's helpdesk and security teams.\nPerforming other duties as assigned.\n\n

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:\n\nBachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 5-7 years of verifiable relevant work experience.\nTechnical Certifications such as VMware VCTA, VMware VCP, Microsoft MCE or MCA certifications are highly desirable.\nMinimum of 5 years as a windows administrator in a similar environment.\nMinimum of 3 years supporting VMware infrastructure.\nMinimum of 3 years managing shared and direct connected storage.\nMinimum of 3 years Windows System patching and upgrades.\nMinimum of 3 years' experience supporting an on-prem Exchange Server\n\n
