As our new IT System Engineer, you will play a key role by delivering manufacturing execution solutions (MES) to support our manufacturing business. In this role you will build and maintain strong partnerships with different stakeholders.
**This position is based in Koropi (Greece) and reporting administratively to the local Head of IT while reporting functionally to a Regional Manager in Ingelheim, Germany.**

As an IT System Engineer, you will deliver tailored, innovative solutions that drive client success and satisfaction, fostering long-term partnerships.
**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Collaborate with the global MES team to transform the MES landscape to a cloud-native architecture using OpenShift/Kubernetes and PostgreSQL.
+ Contribute to the automation, integration, standardization, optimization, and operation of MES solutions based on existing templates.
+ Support the system life cycle (design, planning, implementation, and run) of local and global manufacturing solutions.
+ Cooperate with functional architects for demand management and project prioritization, including organizing, identifying, and recording requirements.
+ Lead small to medium MES implementation projects globally, in collaboration with other IT units and the business community.
+ Recommend innovative solutions for the automation, integration, standardization, and optimization of MES solutions.

**WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM**
+ Bachelor’s/master's degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields.
+ At least 3-5 years of working experience in production processes with a focus on IT systems or engineering.
+ Knowledge or experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (Körber PAS-X 3.2/3.3 is a plus).
+ Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies (Windows/Linux, Citrix) and database systems (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
+ Proficiency in Docker or RedHat OpenShift/Kubernetes.
+ Strong team player with a solution-oriented approach, comfortable in an international and intercultural environment.
+ Excellent command of Greek and English.
+ Project management experience with a track record of managing small/medium-sized global projects in an agile environment.
