Division Description
The ITW StampTech Fastener TM Division serves the major OEMs and Tier suppliers in the North American automotive market. The division supplies stamped metal fasteners and engineered fastener assemblies that leverage our deep-draw stamping technologies. The annual revenue for the division is approximately $160M. Locations include Gallatin, TN, Lexington, KY & Naugatuck, CT.

The IT Support Technician II will provide management of server/infrastructure environments in accordance with business requirements and corporate security guidelines. This position will be responsible for providing stable and secure access to the network, servers, printers, and PC workstations in Gallatin, TN, Lexington, KY, and Naugatuck, CT.
Key Responsibilities
Understands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practicesProvide onsite support for the Gallatin, TN plant, remote users, and integrated vendorsCoordinate day-to-day activities of divisional helpdesk platform amongst IT TeamTier I/II troubleshooting support of WAN/LAN connectivity, firewalls, switching and wi-fi platformsManage Server/Infrastructure patching processes across business locationsWork with IT leadership and senior contractor resources to plan and execute new system/upgrade projects when requiredNetwork hardware installation and administration (when required by network team)Manage B.R.A.V.E. compliance tasks based on quarterly deadlines/requirementsInstall, move, and maintain PC workstations, printers, and common HW devices at plant and outside vendor locationsProactively manage corporate security/patching via Rapid-7, Cylance and N-Able tool platformsMaintain proper hardware equipment inventories on mission-critical equipmentSupport digital signage, including content management used throughout the facilityTelephone system support for adds/moves/changes when requiredContinuous improvement to streamline and automate business processes through IT toolsAll other duties as assigned by managerMinimum Qualifications/Requirements
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT or an IT-related field2-4 years in IT Support Field and prior manufacturing experience preferredAdvanced understanding of the Microsoft Server environments, including domain support, networking, file server/printing management, and securityAbility to project manage small-to-medium infrastructure projectsAdvanced experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNSStrong understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and Meraki cloud-based management servicesExperience with Microsoft Office suite, Teams and O365Effectively communicate in a professional demeanor when dealing with the public or any level of employeesDemonstrate good problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to work overtime, weekend, and after hours along with an on-call rotation if/when requiredPhysical Demands & Work Environment
