Robert Half Technology is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our client, a growing company with approximately 400 employees globally. This IT Support Engineer role will primarily support employees based in California, ensuring seamless IT operations and troubleshooting technical issues in the Mountain View office. This IT Support Engineer is a long term contract opportunity and is at least 3 days onsite. The responsibilities for the IT Support Engineer are below. The IT Support Engineer will be supporting a full MAC OS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide Level 1-2 IT support for onsite employees, including executives.
+ Act as the primary IT support for the Mountain View office (right off El Camino).
+ Handle onboarding and offboarding by configuring necessary applications and devices.
+ Support and troubleshoot SSO authentication issues.
+ Assist employees with macOS support (99% of the company uses Macs).
+ Manage IT orientation for new hires.
+ Troubleshoot Google Workspaces (Google Drive), Slack, Jira, Zoom, and Salesforce issues.
+ Provide support for Zoom conference room setups and troubleshooting.
+ Work closely with the Level 3 IT professional in Vallejo for escalations.
+ Ensure adherence to SLAs and collaborate with the MSP for outsourced IT services.
+ Assist with executive support as needed.
+ Potential to work with Okta integrations and DevOps-related tasks.
Requirements
Requirements:
+ 3-4 years of experience in IT support.
+ Strong experience troubleshooting macOS environments.
+ Familiarity with cloud-based systems (AWS, Google Workspaces, Salesforce, etc.).
+ Experience with SSO troubleshooting and user authentication.
+ Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays (Anchor Days) plus one additional day.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with Okta integrations.
+ Some DevOps experience is a plus.
+ Previous experience providing executive IT support.
