IT Supply Chain Analyst Charlotte, North Carolina  

This Is What You’ll Do:

Capex Budget and Procurement: Develop and manage Capex budgets for IT projects. Prepare and submit Capex requests ensuring compliance with financial guidelines. Oversee the procurement process, including issuing procurement requests and tracking purchases. Maintain accurate records of all Capex expenditures and provide regular budget reports to stakeholders. Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management processes and procedures. Generate and maintain stock reports, ensuring accurate tracking of IT assets. Ensure sufficient stock levels for ongoing projects and advance replacement needs. Receive, document, and maintain equipment inventory for IT projects. Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle management of IT hardware and software assets. Manage hardware renewals and track the lifecycle of equipment to ensure timely upgrades and replacements. Coordinate with IT teams to ensure proper decommissioning and disposal of obsolete assets. Vendor Management: Handle new vendor requests, ensuring that all necessary documentation and approvals are in place. Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Monitor vendor performance and address any issues related to supply chain logistics. Tickets and Task Management: Manage and prioritize Service tickets related to supply chain logistics, ensuring timely resolution of tasks. Track and report on the status of open tickets, escalating issues as necessary. Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure all logistics-related tasks are completed efficiently. Project Support: Assist in logistics planning and execution for IT projects, including ordering, receiving, and inventory management of equipment. Maintain and track project budgets, ensuring alignment with overall goals. Coordinate the logistics of Capex closure, ensuring all financial, procurement, and inventory tasks are completed. Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in supply chain logistics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and increase operational efficiency. Regularly review and update procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.

This Is What It Takes:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in IT supply chain logistics, procurement, or a related role required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience with Capex budgeting and procurement processes preferred Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools preferred Familiarity with lifecycle management of IT assets preferred Excellent communication and vendor management skills required Experience with Cherwell or similar ticketing systems is preferred Experience in process improvement and optimization. preferred Strong project management skills. preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment required
