The Solutions Architect is a strategic member of our IT Department. They will deeply understand the solutions and capabilities represented within a large enterprise environment. This role is a consultative partner for our internal stakeholders, focusing on understanding their goals and strategies and mapping solutions to business outcomes. The Solutions Architect is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help maximize productivity and communication.
This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Demonstrates leadership to ensure that transformation solutions recommendations are comprehensive and meet business objectives.Engage with multiple layers of contacts within the organization to gain insights into the environment.Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.Develop cross-functional strategies and solutions.Translates business and technical objectives into prioritized, phased solutions.Oversee and facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards.Provide technology/architecture recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing, and deployment.Keep the portfolio up to date, driving retirement of legacy solutions/technologies.Contribute to the design of operational processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with policies and security requirements.Stay current with new technologies and innovations and recommend adoption of new partners or solution components. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant work experience required10+ years of experience in Software Development, Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or Business Systems Analysis5+ years of experience with Application Development and Modernization Required Skills Ability to analyze business requirements, recommend technical solutions, and write technical specifications and/or requirementsAbility to efficiently work with executives and internal stakeholdersDesigning and supporting multi-tier application and cloud-based architecturesCurrent understanding of best practices regarding system security measures Project management and leadership skills Ability to adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to translate goals and strategies into business solutions Unique RequirementsTravel as needed based on business needs and determined by SHI management.
Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000.
