What You'll Do

The STL IT Service Specialist position’s main responsibility will be to assist the Information Technology department with all aspects of technology as it relates to Case Team Support, Office operations, and BCG IT priorities. This includes user support, computer setup, maintenance and service, telecommunications, assisting with network and infrastructure maintenance, and all other technology needs as requested.

Deliver a high level of customer service while supporting case teams and office-based staff in a fast-paced environment. Support includes, but is not limited to, laptops, desktops, smartphones, and phone and voice mail systems, both in and outside the office.Aid in the maintenance of local technology in order to increase reliability, security, interoperability, efficiency of customer work while reducing costs.Understand and effectively discuss services and software provided by IT ServiceCapture feedback and evaluate impact of IT Service offeringsAssist in preparing and deploying laptops for staff, including configuration and imaging of laptopsSupport a variety of operating systems and vital applicationsAssist with hardware and software asset tracking and inventory managementCoordinate the repair and maintenance of office printers and computing equipment with outside vendorsAssist with on-site technical support at special events, including staff meetings and customer meetings, etc.Communicate frequently with end users as well as with local, regional, and global support teams with regard to the status of their issueMaintain configurations of all notebook and desktop computer systems according to established BCG requirementsAssist with the documentation and updating technology related instructions/procedures/knowledge articles as requiredRepair video conference and telecommunications systems as neededMaintain problem call history by recording calls in Service Now help desk tracking database; analyze call data to proactively identify improvement opportunitiesParticipate in local, regional, and global projects as appropriate to evaluate existing systems and recommend technology for upgrade and replacement; evaluate new technologies for potential applicability within BCGAchieve annual goals and objectives, developed in agreement with IT Service organization and local managementAssist with general office projects as needed

What You'll Bring

Who You'll Work With

This role currently requires 5 days a week in office presence. This in-office plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration and networking with our colleagues.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.

We expect total annualized compensation for Seattle based employees to be approximately the following:

Base salary between $70,000 - $86,000; placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill levelAnnual discretionary performance bonus between 0 - 12%5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting periodFirst year annualized target total compensation: $77,910.00  - $95,718.00
