Team Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Senior Cloud Engineer (Level 3) to join our team. This role will be pivotal in providing advanced support to our Level 2 agents while also driving cloud initiatives and optimizations using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) technologies. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to enhance our cloud support processes.
Role and Responsibilities
You will need to hit the ground running, as this is a very busy (but supportive) team! The position suits a senior candidate with excellent communication skills who is patient, technically savvy and thinks outside the box at times when needed! We are not looking for an entry-level or junior recruit, but a technical leader and mentor to first-line staff. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex cloud-related issues that Level 2 agents cannot resolve.Analyze and troubleshoot advanced cloud incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.Collaborate with Level 2 agents to enhance their skills and knowledge through training and mentorship.Design and implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and management within Microsoft Azure.Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline deployment processes.Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for knowledge sharing among the support team.Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications for performance and reliability, implementing proactive measures to prevent issues.Engage with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement in cloud service delivery.Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud technologies and provide recommendations for enhancements.Qualifications and Education Requirements
