What You'll Do
BCG is seeking an IT Senior Director, Performance Management & Governance to establish world-class visibility, measurement, and governance across our IT function. This highly strategic role will drive leadership decisions through data, ensuring IT operates at peak performance and delivers measurable value to the organization.
In this role, you will define key performance indicators, build governance frameworks, and partner with IT leaders to set ambitious targets and drive results. As a critical advisor to the CIO and IT Leadership Team, you will ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to shape strategic priorities.
We are looking for a visionary leader with deep expertise in IT, business intelligence, and organizational governance—someone who can influence at the highest levels and drive transformative change.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Strategic Performance LeadershipEstablish and implement IT performance management frameworks to measure, analyze, and optimize IT operations.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure IT effectiveness and efficiency.Drive decision-making by providing leadership with critical insights, highlighting strategic opportunities, and addressing gaps.Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance IT service delivery, operational resilience, and business value.Governance & Data-Driven Decision MakingDevelop and oversee governance structures that ensure accountability and transparency across IT functions.Address core data challenges with sustainable solutions, ensuring reliable visibility into IT performance.Implement data-driven decision-making processes and tools to support strategic priorities.Oversee IT operational governance, compliance, and risk management, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and objectives.Executive-Level Influence & CommunicationProvide strategic recommendations to the CIO, IT Leadership Team, and C-suite executives, ensuring alignment between IT performance and business objectives.Create compelling narratives and executive materials, using data and insights to drive stakeholder buy-in and action.Collaborate with finance teams to assess IT spending, budget utilization, and cost-benefit analyses of IT investments.What You'll Bring
Proven Leadership in IT Performance & Governance15+ years of experience in IT, Digital, or Technology organizations, with a strong background in performance management and governance.Demonstrated success in leading performance strategy in complex, matrixed organizations.Experience driving enterprise-wide measurement and governance programs that create tangible business impact.Strategic Decision-Making & ExecutionTrack record of leading strategic decisions from conception to execution in a highly dynamic environment.Ability to translate data insights into high-impact executive decisions.Adept at influencing and mobilizing teams across functions to drive measurable improvements.Executive Presence & CommunicationExceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders, including the C-suite.Expertise in developing high-quality strategic materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, reports) that drive action and alignment.Who You'll Work With
This role reports directly to the Strategy & Transformation Lead, partnering closely with the CTO and CIO. You will also collaborate with senior IT leaders, working in a highly collaborative setting. This position leads a small global team.
