IT Senior Change Project Manager

What You'll Do

As the IT Senior Change Project Manager, you will be responsible for both managing IT Service projects and change initiatives. You will be responsible for the overall quality of the Project and Change Management processes within the IT Service function.

 

The purpose of this role is to improve the business experience of change rollouts and to advance our end-to-end project management capabilities across the full project lifecycle.

 

In this position on the PM side, you will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets and monitor progress. You will make sure the scope of the project is sound, report regularly on the progress of the project and ensure that it is staying on its approved schedule. You will also play a key role in establishing, updating and driving the ITS roadmap.

 

On the CM side, you will focus on the people-side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. Your primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change-management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. You will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These outcomes will increase benefit realization, value creation and ROI.

 

As a member of the Change & Program Management CoE, you will work with a team of IT Senior Change & Program Managers and directly report to the ITS Transformation Director.

 

Your responsibilities

Change management:

Release and Deployment ManagementCreate and implement change strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistanceEnsure change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budgetEvaluate and ensure the readiness for changePrepare forecasts, and evaluation of the actual impact of changesEvaluate/Report how successfully a change was implementedCooperate with project teams and further managers involved in the changeIdentify risks for resistance as well as the development of plans to address said risksSupport and manage the necessary communication activities related to the change

Project management:

Create and maintain project business caseEnsure projects meet objectives and deadlines on time and on budgetDetermine and define project scope and objectivesDevelop and manage project strategies and work plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignmentProvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progressOversee team execution in accordance with project plans, tools, and methods, and support resource planning and acquisition.Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoptionDiscussing & defend the business case / project updates with various BCG governing bodies such as SteerCo, ITPSG etc.Gathering and analyzing information; using data to formulate both short-term day-to-day and long-term strategic plans

What You'll Bring

Education

B.Sc. or equivalent, preferred

Experience / Knowledge

5-8 years of change management and related experienceA solid understanding of how people go through change and the change processExperience and strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and toolsProven ability to solve problems creativelyExperience seeing change and projects through the full life cycleExperience of managing change across cultures and having good operational knowledge in the IT services space
