Good testing principles as well good defect management skills. Understanding of formal software test design techniques. Working knowledge of ALM, MS Office – preferred. Strong understand of Software Development Life Cycle QA process and test methodologies.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 7 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of Progress (Currently on v10) or related 4GL language experience for application development is required. Prior knowledge of healthcare billing concepts, experience with imaging and workflow business process automation are preferred. Experience with HP Unix OS or Redhat LinuxResponsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:
Develop and maintain applications software for internal use to enable more efficient operation. Analyze business problems and develop automated solutions. Maintain and develop electronic Data interface systems. Work in conjunction with development managers, team members, project managers, testers, system administrators and end - users to develop and maintain programs, services, and components of our IT service catalog. Assist/train new employees in departmental policies and procedures. Follow all change management procedures for all development work completed. This includes product specific and IT related change management procedures. Maintain training on current technologies used. Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts. Works productively in a team and independently. Demonstrates strong work ethics, committed to excellence and be a positive influence on others. Some travel may be required for the purpose of off-site software installation. Other duties as assigned.
