The Security Engineer has global responsibility for supporting solutions crafted to protect, detect, and alert security threats in our global network environment.

A Day in the Life:Provide technical SME support for cyber tool implementation and operationsReview and provide guidance around endpoint policy configurationWork with business IT to deploy cyber security tooling to test environments and production systemsOffer post-deployment support and assistance in fixing any issues that may ariseDocument lessons learned and develop plans for ongoing cyber optimizationIdentify critical areas for improvement in cyber security tooling and related security technologiesContinuously provide insight on ways to apply cyber security tooling more efficientlyEnsure data security efficiency and compliance with governance policiesMonitor and analyze security events using cyber security tooling and integrations

Keys to Success:Use influence skills to acquire agreement and participation from various groups and partners without direct controlEnsure documentation and processes are well-defined for engineered cyber security solutionsBuild, test, and maintain robust cybersecurity tooling deploymentsProactively communicate and collaborate with the business on maintaining our security postureDevelop and maintain security documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures related to endpoint, pki, password management and more

EducationBachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience is acceptedCertifications encouraged: Crowdstrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA), CompTIA CySA+, or other relevant endpoint security certificationsExperience5+ years of systems administration experience3+ years of endpoint security operations experience for a large-scale company3+ years of proven experience with endpoint security tooling or other modern endpoint and distributed compute solutionsIn-depth knowledge of current Windows and macOS operating systemsExperience with implementing and managing enterprise-level endpoint security controlsStrong organization skills, leading sophisticated projects

Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong knowledge of endpoint security principles and standard methodologies, with practical experience in implementing endpoint security toolingExperience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies for diverse endpoint environmentsStrong knowledge of threat detection and incident response processesStrong problem-solving skills in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for actionValidated flexibility and ability to perform in a multidimensional environmentAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDedication to excellence, high-quality standards, and attention to detailStay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and standard methodologies in endpoint security
