IT Project Manager

Life on the team 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the PC refresh project one of our clients across multiple sites in Belgium and the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the efforts of site engineers, scheduling user appointments, and ensuring the seamless replacement of devices. Additionally, the Project Manager will collaborate with the Windows 11 upgrade project and utilize Nexthink analytics to target the right devices for replacement. This will be a long term assignment at this client, until at least end of 2027. Location: Hybrid between Belgium, UK & Homeworking.

 

What you'll do 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with site engineers to ensure efficient execution of the PC refresh project. Schedule and manage user appointments for device replacements. Collaborate with the Windows 11 upgrade project team to align efforts and ensure compatibility. Utilize Nexthink analytics to identify and target the right devices for replacement. Stakeholder Management: Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors. Ensure clear and effective communication with all project team members and stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project success. Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of project objectives. Ensure that all project team members have the necessary tools and resources to perform their tasks. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of service delivery. Conduct regular project reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and standards. Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that all project risks are documented and communicated to stakeholders.

 

Key Objectives:

Successful Project Delivery: Ensure the PC refresh project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Customer Satisfaction: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring minimal disruption during device replacements and providing excellent support. Cost Efficiency: Optimize project costs through effective resource management and the use of automation tools. Quality Improvement: Maintain high standards of service quality and implement continuous improvement processes. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong collaboration and communication among project team members and stakeholders. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth project execution. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage Nexthink analytics to make informed decisions and target the right devices for replacement. Review and Improve Reporting: Regularly review and enhance the current replacement reporting processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness

 

What you'll need 

Qualifications:

Min. 5 year experience in similar positions. Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Languages: Dutch & English (French added bonus) Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Experience with Nexthink analytics and Windows 11 upgrade projects is highly desirable. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

 

Preferred Skills:

Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification. Agile working methodologies. Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and processes. Knowledge of IT infrastructure and endpoint management.
