Description We are seeking an IT Project Manager in San Antonio, Texas, United States. This role involves managing a variety of technical systems projects, ensuring they align with customer expectations and established standards. The IT Project Manager will also be responsible for coordinating complex work efforts to achieve goals within the set timeframe and budget.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating activities for complex work efforts to achieve set goals within the prescribed timeframe and budget
• Managing a portfolio of technical systems projects, monitoring and handling risks, issues, and changes effectively
• Creating and managing project plans related to schedule, budget, scope, and resources
• Establishing overall project governance and communication with impacted stakeholders
• Understanding and managing critical path activities of each project proactively
• Ensuring the incorporation of sound technical engineering in project plans by liaising with system administrators and engineers
• Assisting with the implementation of Project Management Office (PMO) frameworks and best practices across projects
• Utilizing strong communication skills to align project management best practices and reporting with strategic goals
• Working in a high-level collaborative environment, promoting a teamwork mentality and navigating conflicting requirements to drive decision-making
• Mapping technology to business processes and vice versa, understanding the technical landscape and inter-dependencies quickly
• Demonstrating a process-oriented approach with a customer-centric and empathetic attitude, working independently, setting priorities, and seeing projects through to completion. Requirements
• Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an IT Project Manager
• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira is required
• Proficient knowledge and experience with Cisco Technologies is a must
• Familiarity and experience with Cloud Technologies is needed
• Must have experience in using and managing CRM systems
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
• Experience with About Time software is necessary
• Must have skills in AB Testing
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology is required
• Experience in managing Budget Processes is a must
• Must have skills in Change Management
