In the role of Project Management Team Lead you will be responsible for:Ensuring the corporate technology project process is understood and followedFacilitating the project team’s efficiency and healthAssigning projects to Project ManagersCollaborating with the other Corporate Technology PMO leads and facilitating project advisory board and prioritization meetingsITG Portfolio Management including facilitating project reviews the daily coordination meeting and guided continuous improvementHelping to remove impediments and keeps the projects and the process moving forwardProviding visibility to project health and KPI’s for the project management team and of process and work-in-processFacilitating project reviews and planning meetingsEnsuring quality status updates and accurate documentationKeeping the project management tool updated with any necessary changesAs appropriate, leading some larger projects as needed.Facilitating knowledge sharing and lessons learned across the organization

Team Lead Responsibilities

Team management:Ensure team members are motivated and working effectivelyTask management:Monitor progress, adjust workloads, and delegate tasksCommunication:Facilitate meetings, share information, and resolve conflictsProcess improvement:Help remove impediments and facilitate continuous improvementProject advisory board:Represent projects that are up for review for our team Project management portal:Maintain the portal, ensure quality, and create reportsDocumentation: Ensure the team has appropriate best practices, templates and tools to do work most efficientlyProject portfolio: Assist ITG leadership to ensure up to date, accurate projects in the portfolio including backlog reviews.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or Management A minimum of 7 years of experience with at least 5 years of project management experience Experience leading large teams in a matrix management environment Program management experience leading large programs that involve significant business change Demonstrated track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines Experience developing and managing program budgets Knowledge of business case development including cost/benefit analysis, NPV, current and future state assessments Experience managing vendor agreements and tracking service levels Familiarity with compliance (regulatory, SOX, etc) and governance issues Advanced oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong presentation and facilitation skills to communicate with and persuade a wide range of audiences Strong supervisory and matrix management skills and ability to oversee tasks delegated to others Ability to manage large technology initiative with distributed teams Experience in managing technology initiatives, preferably with systems that handle significant load with concurrency and data An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
