About The Role: The IT Procurement Specialist is a vital role in the center of all things in the Technology department. This highly organized multitasker will have the opportunity to create and maintain a purchasing program with processes, policies, and inventory management that extend across the nation of UES’s offices. Responsibilities: Maintain an Information Technology asset management system, ensuring that all assets are recorded and updated/removed when required Build processes and procedures that track invoices and stock that others in the department can follow to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and payment to vendors Purchase hardware/software following agreed-upon procedures with guidance from technology department leadership Manage invoices for all hardware, software, and service purchases, including recurring invoices for telecom, copiers, postage equipment, and software subscriptions. Reconcile purchases, received assets to invoices Obtain hardware/software quotes on behalf of users and other IT team members. Accept incoming work requests via e-mail and IT Ticketing system Compile and publish inventory information, spending, and other cost allocation to other business units. Ship hardware assets to other UES offices, occasionally include dropping off boxes at standard shipping companies for high priority requests Vendor management Qualifications: Good communication skills – comfortable working with individual contributors through senior management Strong organizational skills with a good natural sense of project management and prioritization Experience maintaining vendor relationships High school education or equivalent (GED) Fantastic computer & data entry skills Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record Ability to manage MS Excel imports, exports, and extractions from 3rd party platforms Basic MS Excel formula and vLookup management Project Management Education / Certification Who We Are:   UES provides essential engineering services for some of the most prominent and significant projects in the nation.
