IT PLM Technical Application-Infrastructure Specialist

The IT department for Product Lifecycle Management and Configuration Management is responsible for delivering solutions that push the limits of technology to unlock the business value of digital design and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). We deliver innovative PLM solutions to solve some of ASML’s toughest challenges. Job Description 

As PLM Technical Application Specialist, you are responsible for building and delivering the overall PLM technical solution application infrastructure for the Teamcenter platform, in close alignment with our functional and technical PLM architects, IT stakeholders and IT vendors.  

You assist PLM projects with your technical expertise and ensure the delivery of agreed PLM platform performance levels. You are the expert on the current and future solution technology of the PLM platform and its technical capabilities. Additionally, you work closely with our solution vendors to identify technical best practices, improve current and introduce new technology

and all consultancy  you do and changes you will make will be with a security mindset . 
  
This position is part of the PLM Platform Agile Release Train (ART) in the ASML IT PLM department where you will be working in a team of PLM technical experts and report to the PLM Platform IT group lead. 

Education 

Bachelor's degree is a must, preferably in Engineering and/or IT/Computer Science 

Experience 

Technical administrative knowledge and understanding of Siemens suite of applications and architecture  

Must have experience with Teamcenter, Active Workspace 

Nice to have experience in TC Deployment Center, NX and Polarion  

Experience in managing large, complex, global TCUA landscape and services maintenance. 

Cloud Architecture: Understanding of cloud-based solutions and architecture. 

Conversant with TLS\SSL protocols, middleware’s, web servers, load balancers, proxies, firewall management, network analysis / Wireshark. 

Experience in interacting closely with infrastructure providers on designs of new capabilities that adhere to technology, security, and system architectural guidelines. 

Taking the lead in proposing and executing solutions for structural problems in the PLM application portfolio related to performance and application deployment. 

Experience in interacting with projects, delivering infrastructure solutions towards the PLM Projects. 

Experience in investigating recent technologies to improve and optimize the application. 

Working with platforms like Ansible, Terraform, Linux, Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.

You will work at the IT department for Product Lifecycle Management & Configuration Management. This department is responsible for the delivery, improvement & maintenance of IT solutions supporting ASML’s configuration management and product lifecycle management processes.
