IT Operations Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical IT Operations Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on leveraging data from IT management and operational systems to develop key performance indicators (KPIs), create insightful data visualizations, and establish comprehensive reporting mechanisms, including cost reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, with a keen ability to translate technical data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities Utilize leading analytics platforms and programming languages, such as Power BI or ServiceNow to develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports that provide insights into IT operational performance, service levels, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and deliver tailored analytics solutions. Design and implement data visualization tools to make complex data more accessible, understandable, and usable for non-technical stakeholders. Conduct deep-dive incident analyses to uncover underlying causes of service disruptions, performance bottlenecks, and other operational issues. Recommend improvements based on data-driven insights to enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency. Develop and maintain cost reporting mechanisms to track IT spending and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in IT operations management and business intelligence to continually improve data reporting and analytics practices. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing quality control measures and validation processes. Facilitate training and workshops for IT and business teams to enhance data literacy and promote a data-driven culture. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, or Information Science 2-5 years of similar work experience, preferably in tech Self-starter with strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, question the results, generate insights and construct solutions Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail Outstanding, documented skills in Excel; proficiency in VBA, SQL, R, or other coding platform preferred Benefits Work with an organization recognized as #1 in Healthcare by Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces in 2023.
