Job Summary:
The IT Manager contributes to information technology strategies by managing staff and directing the implementation of technological solutions across diverse teams. They recommend and implement information technology strategies, policies, and procedures within functional unit; participate in implementation across functional units. A key focus of this position is managing and developing staff and unit budget to achieve strategic department and team goals.
As the Manager of the Integration team, you will be responsible for leading a team that drives and executes PulteGroup’s integration strategy. Our integration strategy is cloud-first, API-driven with enterprise service bus, and utilizes an enterprise data hub (EDH) concept. The Integration team consists of a Senior Project Manager, experienced Developers, and Analysts. The ideal candidate is a proven servant leader who loves to grow and mentor people, builds relationships with application team stakeholders, and drives the technical strategy forward in alignment with Enterprise Architecture. The ability to understand our technical integration vision and strategy and then translate and communicate/sell that to others is a key success factor for this role.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Recruits, selects, coaches, and develops team leadership, engineering, and support staff within the IT department. Manages professional growth and development plans.Works with senior leadership to develop team goals in line with department objectives.Builds and maintains strong partnerships with IT leadership.Conducts performance and development reviews per HR guidelines. Takes corrective actions, including Performance Improvement Plans and terminations, when necessary.May lead problem management teams comprised of senior engineering resources in solving high-complexity, high-impact enterprise issues.Manages vendor relationships with hardware and software solutions and tools.Translates and champions IT strategy to functional unit.Achieves financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action within functional unit.Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by supporting strategic plans for implementing and supporting information technologies.Assists with defining enterprise IT policies and procedures to ensure the protection of information assets.Delivery Results – Integrations are delivered, monitored, and maintained to meet both IT strategy requirements and product development team requirements.Cross Team Alignment – The Integration team, product teams, and Enterprise Architecture team maintain alignment on technical strategy and delivery plans.Partnerships – Strong collaborative partnerships exist with all Integration team stakeholders including enterprise architecture, product development, data and analytics, and database development.Performs other duties as assigned.Career Level (M3)
