IT Manager
Description We are currently seeking a highly competent IT Manager with a strong background in Systems, Networking, and Infrastructure for our client. The ideal candidate should have experience in the healthcare sector and possesses excellent budget management skills. While prior experience of managing people is not a requirement, the candidate should be able to display strong leadership and team collaboration skills. Primary Responsibilities: + Oversee and manage all aspects of our IT department, including systems, networking, and infrastructure. + Develop and implement IT policies and processes to maintain efficiency and standard compliance. + Work closely with other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions. + Act as primary custodian of system security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. + Direct, organize, and handle IT-related projects. + Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for necessary installations and troubleshooting. + Administer department budget efficiently, making sure to keep within financial boundaries while also investing in necessary upgrades and purchases for business growth. Requirements Qualifications: + Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar. + Proven experience in IT systems, networking, and infrastructure ideally within the healthcare sector. + Experience managing budgets and making cost-effective decisions. + Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g., GDPR). + Excellent leadership, team building, and communication skills. + Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
