IT Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and enhance the technology infrastructure of a casino environment in Norman, Oklahoma. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless network operations, robust system security, and high availability for all IT-related services. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and extensive experience in managing IT systems within the gaming or hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Configure and maintain network systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and distribution frames, to ensure optimal performance and security. • Monitor and manage over 1200 end devices, 50+ switches, and 15+ servers within a flat network topology. • Implement and oversee high-availability systems to ensure minimal downtime and reliable failover processes. • Collaborate with vendors, gaming system providers, and internal teams to maintain smooth IT operations. • Manage and support VoIP devices and ensure functionality of access control systems used by employees and vendors. • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving IT issues promptly to minimize disruptions. • Troubleshoot and resolve critical network or system escalations to maintain uninterrupted casino operations. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, particularly in gaming-related IT systems. • Optimize IT resources and provide strategic recommendations to enhance system performance and reliability. • Maintain and manage legacy systems, including deprecated Point-to-Point services, to ensure continued functionality where required. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in IT network management or systems administration. • Expertise in enterprise-level firewalls, networking protocols, and server management. • Familiarity with legacy systems such as AT& T Gigaman and gaming-related IT compliance policies. • Strong knowledge of VoIP devices, VMware, Windows Server, and PCI-DSS standards. • Proven ability to manage complex IT environments with high device density and uptime requirements. • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills in high-pressure situations. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
