Made Possible.** **POSITION PURPOSE** This position supports all hardware (140+ PC's, 3 servers, routers switches, and wireless network) and in-house software at the facility. This position is also responsible for all telecommunications, copier, and printing needs for the facility. **JOB FUNCTIONS** 1. Acts as a resource throughout the operation, making certain that all systems are functioning effectively 99% of the time. 2. Responsible for all of the Plant's communication needs. 3. Responsible for all of the Plant's security systems (i.e. cameras, door locks). 4. Responsible for all of the Plant's printers. 5. Periodically reviews and updates the Plant's IT systems from the PDA's and laptops, to desktop computers on the production floor. 6. Keeps current on trends in IT and directs the IT efforts of the facility. 7. Complete understanding of the production reporting system (i.e. SAP). 8. Identifies and conducts training to improve existing practices as needed. 9. Complies with corporate IT policies. 10. Responsible for compliance with all facility food safety, food defense, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs)/Sanitation policies and procedures. Employee must continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of their work area in support of SQF/5S and other company standards. 11. Must be supportive of GPI’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values (Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork). 12. Must be supportive and involved in GPI efforts for LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement programs and processes. 13. Performs other Maintenance projects as assigned. 14. Performs all other duties as assigned. 15. Strives to clearly understand customer requirements and delivers results to meet or exceed customer expectations. 16. Ability and responsibility to stop any process that is not meeting food safety requirements. 17.
