Job Summary: Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, the IT Inventory and Imaging Specialist will be primarily responsible for the setup and provisioning of new and returned computer equipment, including laptops, tablets, and other computer hardware. The IT Inventory and Imaging Specialist will oversee devices for new hires and be responsible for maintaining inventory. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: + Responsible for both technical and administrative duties + Inventorying and asset tagging of IT equipment + Responding in person, via phone, or electronically to inquiries and requests for assistance and creating, updating, and resolving Service Desk Tickets as needed + Management of IT Logistics, including disposal activities + Imaging and initial configuration of devices, including laptops and tablets + Ordering cell phones and provisioning with device management + Assisting customers and staff with basic hardware and software challenges + Communicating with vendors for warranty support + Processing of equipment returns + Provide support for hardware and software maintenance renewals + Perform routine inventory checks twice a year and provide periodic reports + Provide input and maintain an Asset Management Plan and Operating Procedures + Work with minimal direction while maintaining exceptional attention to detail + Manage asset inventory within the Information Technology department and across the Enterprise + Develop written processes and procedures for identifying, tracking, transferring, reporting, and disposing of fixed assets as requested + Other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: + Possess strong customer service skills + 1-2 years of experience managing IT hardware and software acquisition and disposition + Prior experience with vendor management + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook + Ability to exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations + Willing to learn and accept challenges and new responsibilities + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted + Ability to spend prolonged periods of time sitting, standing, stooping, and kneeling Required Education and Experience: + High School Diploma + 6 months experience with inventory processes and Active Directory Preferred Education and Experience: + 1 year of inventory management experience + Experience with Active Directory and other profile and device management systems + Experience with asset management systems + Experience with JIRA or other IT ticket management systems Why Work at RailPros? + Collaborative and Innovative Environment: RailPros fosters a culture of teamwork and innovation, where IT professionals have the opportunity to implement cutting-edge solutions and contribute to impactful projects. + Professional Growth Opportunities: RailPros invests in employee development, offering training programs, certifications, and opportunities to work on diverse IT challenges that enhance skills and career progression. + Strong Industry Presence: As a leading provider in rail and infrastructure services, RailPros offers IT professionals the chance to support a mission-critical industry with significant technological advancements. + Competitive Benefits and Work-Life Balance: RailPros provides a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, retirement plans, and PTO, along with a commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance for its employees.
