**Position Overview:** The Manager of IT Infrastructure will lead the IT Infrastructure team, overseeing the strategic operations and management of systems engineers, network engineers, and IT business administrators. This role will also be accountable for the performance and management of the outsourced helpdesk. The Director will play a crucial role in hiring, developing, and leading the IT Infrastructure team to ensure the organization’s IT environment is innovative, robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. **Key Responsibilities:** **Leadership & Development:** • Hire, develop, and lead a team of systems engineers, network engineers, and IT business administrators. • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance their professional development. • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the IT infrastructure team. **Helpdesk & Support Management:** • Manage the relationship and performance of the outsourced helpdesk provider. • Analyze support tickets to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Oversee machine deployments, including break/fix tasks, to ensure efficiency and reliability. • Ensure SLAs are met and customer satisfaction remains high. • Implement continuous improvement strategies for helpdesk operations. **Infrastructure Strategy & Planning:** • Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that support the business’s growth and changing needs. • Monitor any changes (pending or future) to the technology stack and ensure the organization assesses and adopts the right tools for corporate growth. • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance and reliability. • Collaborate with other departments to understand infrastructure needs and ensure seamless integration of IT solutions. **Security & Compliance:** • Ensure the IT infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations. • Use security tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Defender and Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, and SecureWorks, to safeguard the organization’s IT environment. • Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. • Ensure systems are kept up-to-date and secure. **Technology Expertise:** • Manage IT infrastructure with familiarity with Microsoft platforms, including Office 365 and Microsoft Azure. • Enhance infrastructure security and efficiency by using tools such as Microsoft Defender, Mimecast, Intune, and Palo Alto Networks. • Apply knowledge in either systems or networks to optimize IT operations and performance. **Budget & Vendor Management:** • Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget. • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers. **Project Management:** • Lead infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement IT infrastructure solutions. **Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including 3+ years in a leadership role. • Proven experience managing systems engineers, network engineers, and outsourced service providers. • Strong familiarity with Microsoft platforms such as Office 365 and Microsoft Azure. • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Mimecast, Intune, and Palo Alto Networks. • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. • Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships effectively. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience with IT security and compliance standards. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Proven experience as a senior systems or network engineer • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or relevant technical certifications.
