IT Infrastructure and Security Manager
What We Need: Brady Corporation is looking for an experienced IT manager to lead our Infrastructure and Security program and team. Our technology leaders are characterized by strong technical skills with demonstrated progression in leadership responsibility. Reporting to the Director of IT, this key leadership position oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our essential IT infrastructure and security systems. This position offers a unique opportunity for significant professional growth, providing wide-ranging exposure to diverse IT domains. What You'll Be Doing: + Lead and mentor a team of IT infrastructure and security professionals + Plan and manage IT projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion + Manage changes to systems and processes + Communicate regular status updates including written and verbal in status update meetings + Provide escalated technical support for complex infrastructure and security issues + Safeguard company systems and data by establishing and implementing security policies and procedures + Plan and coordinate regular security assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks + Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations + Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency, performance, scalability and security + Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts What You Will Need To Be Successful: + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field + 5+ years in a technical or engineering field such as networking or security + 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure and security teams + Strong understanding of current network protocols, operating systems, virtualization, and cloud computing + Strong cybersecurity knowledge and proven implementation experience + Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences About Us: Who we are:Brady makes products that make the world a safer and more productive place.
