IT Information Governance Manager

Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a provider of complete and sustainable transport solutions. We are adding new markets (for instance China) and increasing our collaboration with brands and companies in the TRATON Group, creating a truly global TRATON Group organisation.

Our organisation
Information Governance relates to the overall strategy for information at Scania and the TRATON Group. Information Governance balances the risk that information presents with the value that information provides. It aims to secure legal compliance, operational transparency, and reducing risks associated with legal discovery. Information Governance has amongst others a strong connection to Export Control, Data Privacy, Information Security, and country-specific legislations.
Through the transformation of Scania and the build-up of a global TRATON Group organisation, the demands towards Information Governance have increased significantly. New Laws and regulations are appearing at an increased pace, while cross-brand information sharing needs across legislative and country boundaries are growing. We are now looking for an Information Governance Manager which will support the Scania and TRATON Group business functions in staying compliant towards rules and regulations in conjunction with appropriate risk management on information sharing.

In this position, you will join the Scania IT Governance, Risk & Compliance team (IFD) and work in an international environment closely collaborating with and coordinating Information Governance work across the global IT-community and Corporate functions within the Scania Group.

•    Support the development and decision-making process on IT information sharing solutions from an Information Governance perspective.
•    Drive the resolution of information governance queries raised towards TRATON and Scania.

•    Fluent in English is mandatory, Swedish or German is a plus.

Your Profile
You are deeply passionate about Information Governance and possess a comprehensive understanding of its strategic complexities within global companies. Thriving in a central role, you enjoy working cross-functionally with IT, business, and corporate functions, effectively becoming the "spider in the web" that connects various teams. As a self-starter driven by results, you balance this with an appreciation for the challenges businesses face in prioritization.
Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact efficiently with both management and technical experts, fostering strong collaboration across all levels. With experience in international, multicultural environments, you bring a broad understanding of IT and its infrastructural components to the table. Ideally, you have previous experience in Information Governance within a global IT organization, along with a solid grasp of the associated rules and regulations.
Moreover, your ability to analyze risks, identify deficiencies, evaluate options, and support sound decision-making makes you a valuable asset. You hold an academic degree or possess equivalent work experience in a field relevant to this position.
