Position Summary:
We are working with a National Fashion Retailer looking for an experienced IT Director with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) and a deep understanding of the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Dynamics F&O, specifically in optimising financial and operational processes for retail organisations. You will be responsible for leading IT initiatives, meeting with stakeholders, enhancing technology solutions, team leadership of the IT and Data teams and ensuring the seamless operation of Dynamics F&O systems to meet the growing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:
* Define and drive the IT strategy for the organisation, aligning it with business objectives, particularly in the retail sector.
* Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing IT team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient resource allocation.
* Collaborate with senior management to prioritise and implement technology solutions that enhance retail operations and financial management.
* Lead efforts to optimise and scale Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the retail business.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Management:
* Lead projects overseeing the design, implementation, and optimisation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to support retail-specific processes, including inventory management, procurement, financials, logistics and supply chain.
* Ensure Dynamics F&O modules integrate effectively with other systems across the organisation, such as POS, e-commerce, Financials, and warehouse management systems.
* Work with business stakeholders to identify needs and drive the customisation and configuration of Dynamics F&O to improve operational efficiency and financial visibility.
* Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the F&O system, ensuring business continuity and performance optimisation.

Retail Industry Focus:
* Leverage deep knowledge of retail operations, supply chain management, and financial systems to recommend and implement IT solutions that improve business performance.
* Analyse retail-specific business processes and translate them into technical requirements, ensuring the Dynamics 365 system supports areas like pricing, promotions, and customer loyalty.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in retail technology, ensuring the organisation remains competitive in a fast-evolving landscape.

Security, Compliance & Best Practices:
* Ensure all Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations deployments comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements for the retail sector.
* Implement and enforce robust IT security measures to protect business-critical data and financial information.
* Establish and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans for IT systems, ensuring minimal disruption to retail operations.

Collaboration & Communication:
* Foster collaboration between IT and other departments (finance, supply chain, etc.) to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, providing regular updates on IT performance, system status, and future initiatives.
* Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes across retail teams.
Required Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in IT with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
* Strong understanding of Retail industry operations, including inventory management, financial, procurement, and supply chain in MS Dynamics Finance and Operations.
* Proven track record of implementing and optimising Dynamics 365 F&O within a retail environment.
* In-depth knowledge of system integration, cloud solutions, and enterprise applications within the retail sector.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
