IT Director
Description We are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Director to steer our client's IT department. The successful candidate will have had experience managing IT in a company with an international parent company, alongside a proven track record in change management, particularly around IT optimization and ERP Implementation. This is a permanent / full-time opportunity and our client is 100% onsite in the northeast St. Paul metro area. Responsibilities: + Develop and manage productive relationships with our overseas parent company, ensuring alignment in vision and strategy. + Lead the IT optimization process, supporting the organization through periods of significant changes. + Direct the migration from SAP ECC 6.0 to S4 Hana, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth implementation. + Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance. + Define and implement IT policies and best practices. + Provide hands-on technical leadership, assist team members in troubleshooting and addressing system and network issues. + Partner with business leaders and teams, aligning IT systems and solutions with business operations and goals. + Manage IT-related projects and supervise technology upgrades. Requirements Required Skills, Education, & Experience: + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience + A minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a Manager/Director role. + Experience managing IT in a company with an overseas parent company and complex org structure. + Hands-on technical experience in managing networks and systems. + Technical knowledge of SAP ERP systems is REQUIRED (SAP S4 Hana a plus).
