An IT Director will be responsible for leading the overall strategy, development, and management of IT systems across the hotel, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence. This includes overseeing business applications, infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and technology innovation.

\nWhat will I be doing?\n

As an IT Director, you will lead the IT function, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strategic use of technology to enhance both operational efficiency and guest experience. You will manage the IT team, budgets, and projects while ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and standards. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

\n\n\n

Developing and executing the hotel’s IT strategy in alignment with overall business objectives

\n\n\n

Ensuring robust, secure, and scalable IT systems that support business operations and guest services

\n\n\n

Leading the IT team, providing clear direction, performance management, and professional development

\n\n\n

Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure, networks, business systems, and telecommunication services

\n\n\n

Ensuring compliance with IT governance, data protection, and cybersecurity regulations

\n\n\n

Managing IT budgets and vendor relationships effectively

\n\n\n

Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement

\n\n\n

Establishing strong partnerships with all departments to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions

\n\n\n

Proactively identifying risks and implementing measures to ensure business continuity and system reliability

\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n

IT Directors representing our brand are expected to lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to service excellence, innovation, and team collaboration. To succeed in this role, candidates should exhibit the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:

Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within the hospitality, leisure, or service industry

\n\n\n

Deep understanding of Microsoft technologies and enterprise-level IT systems

\n\n\n

Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera (Fidelio), Micros, and related hospitality platforms is highly preferred

\n\n\n

Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels

\n\n\n

Up-to-date technical expertise with a broad understanding of modern IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networks, business applications, and digital transformation initiatives

\n\n\n

Strategic thinking with the ability to plan ahead, develop contingency plans, and drive innovation

\n\n\n

Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, and large-scale projects

\n\n\n

Commitment to IT governance, compliance, and data protection best practices
